Board Evaluation Disclosure

Robust board evaluation processes strengthen board effectiveness and prove an important conduit for change as companies require new skills, perspectives and strategies over time. Since CII published a report in 2014 on best practices in board evaluation among predominantly foreign companies, U.S. companies have caught up. This CII-REF report highlights several indicators of strong board evaluation processes and disclosure and features the proxy statements of ten U.S. companies that investors find especially effective.
